About Me

Hi, I’m Charissa - Advanced Skin Therapist, Educator and Assessor.

With over 25 years of experience in the beauty, skin and laser industry, my work is grounded in education, clinical expertise and evidence-based practice. Originally trained in the United Kingdom, I completed an intensive full-time three-year qualification in beauty therapy, spa therapy and hairdressing before building an international career working in and managing beauty salons, spas, skin and laser clinics and cosmetic clinics across England, Italy, Turkey, France, Sydney, Melbourne and Noosa along with delivering expert education for skincare product companies in Melbourne such as The dermal institute - Dermalogica and Environ skincare. 

Education plays a central role in my professional studio. Alongside operating Skin & Brow Collective, I am a passionate Educator and Assessor, currently delivering the Beauty Therapy Diploma within a private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) on the Sunshine Coast. I am committed to developing confident, competent and industry-ready therapists through strong clinical foundations, practical skilled treatment mastery and an evidence based understanding of skin function, treatments and ingredients.

At Skin & Brow Collective, every client journey is education led and individually designed. Treatment plans are developed with a clear focus on skin biology, ingredient science and long-term skin health. I consider lifestyle factors, environmental influences, timelines, internal health, budgets and ingredient preferences to ensure recommendations are realistic, sustainable and results-driven. Client education is a key component of my approach, empowering individuals to understand their skin and actively participate in their results.

As a working mother, I understand the importance of accessible care and flexible education. I offer virtual skin consultations and Australia-wide product delivery, and provide a welcoming, child and baby-friendly studio environment.

I am deeply passionate about elevating professional standards within the beauty and aesthetics industry through education, ethical practice and mentorship. Whether working with clients or training future therapists, my focus remains the same, knowledge-driven decisions, confidence through understanding and results built on a strong clinical foundation.
